We are currently developing our Help Page. If you are having any troubles with using our website, please let us know by filling out the Contact Us form. We will do our best to address your issue within 24-48 hours.

By letting us know about your experiences with theGPD, you will improve our ability to create an effective and useful Help Page, and improve your overall user experience. Thank you for taking the time to help us strengthen our community.

Uploading a Video and Starting a Debate

1. After opening up the Start a Debate page, click on the Browse... button.

2. Find the video you have previously recorded and saved to your computer, select it, and click the Open button.

3. Click the Upload button. Make sure the video is fully uploaded before you click the 'Submit Debate' button at the bottom of the page. Your video is fully uploaded when the bar below the 'upload' button is at 100%. While the video uploads, you can finish filling in the Start a Debate page.

4. Name your debate by filling in the space labeled Debate Title.

5. The Vocabularies section is where you can select the topics that are relevant to your debate. Your video will be listed under these topics in the 'Debate' section of the website. You can select multiple topics from the Issues, Ideology, Politicians, and News categories. Please select only the topics that are directly related to the message of your video.

6. In the Debate Description box, type a few brief sentences that summarize the overall message of your video. This will give other users an idea of what your video is about before they view it.

7. The Sources section is where you can add links that are relevant to your video.

8. Once the video is done uploading, click the Submit Debate! button.

NOTE: It takes 10 to 15 minutes for our servers to process your video. Your video will be added under the topics you selected above when it is done processing. We appreciate your patience!
