Should There be a National Constitution Day?

I'm not necessarily calling for a National Holiday where we all get off of school or work.  I am however, wondering why one of the most historic and momentous days the world has ever seen goes unnoticed year after year after year.  I'm talking about the signing of the Constitution of the United States of America, which happened on September 17. I am embarrassed to say that it wasn't until I read this article that I even became aware of the day the Constitution was signed. It seems that each year and each election we move a little further away from principles and laws laid down in our Constitution. Perhaps this happens because the Constitution has become an after thought, and recognizing it annually on September 17 would serve as a reminder to us all.

This document serves to outline, grant, and protect our liberty as a people. Is still relevant today? Is it at least relevant enough to put on the calendar?
