Now, I was up early one morning getting ready for a workout. There was nothing good on the news channels, so I put CSPAN 2 on in the background while I was gathering my things and getting ready for the day. Little did I know I was about ready to stumble upon entertainment gold. It turns out that from 6-6:30a on Wednesday mornings, CSPAN 2 airs "Question Time." For this half-hour, you get to see the members of the English House of Commons asking the English Prime Minister questions. This may sound boring, but it is anything but boring. This half hour is ripe with slander, yelling, cheering, laughing/finger pointing, English accents, and a rhetorical style that leads me to believe that the English might have invented the "rap battle." Gordon Brown is particularly good at ending each of his arguments with a witty rhyme. Best yet, the whole thing is presided over by a small man in a large green chair that I'm pretty sure is a classic English midget - no wait I'm sorry, "little person." There is no need to wake up that early though, because CSPAN streams all of its content on the internet.
Check it out for yourself. If you don't have a half hour, watch it from the 12 minute mark to the 14 minute mark.
